BIOGRAPHY
Brass Monkey is a solo acoustic guitarist and vocalist from Northeast England, known for his distinctive sound that blends grunge-inspired rock with bluesy undertones. He is supported by Ryan McCombs at Think Tank Newcastle and has headlined at Riverside. He has had the honor of supporting prominent artists, including Ryan McCombs of Soil & Drowning Pool at Think Tank, and has captivated audiences as a headliner at Riverside in Newcastle.
His career has seen him chart in multiple countries, including three number-one hits. His debut single, “Breadline,” reached No. 1 on the WKW CRAM Top 40. “Nowhere” reached No. 3 on both the WKW CRAM Top 40 and the KB Radio Canada Top 25, and more recently No. 11 on the Museboat Live Channel Top 25. “Miracle” reached No. 1 on the Radio TFSC Top 24. “Another Day” placed 14th in the Museboat Music Awards Song of the Year. It received highly positive reviews in several publications, including NARC, and was a 5-star commended entry in the UK Songwriting Contest.
In addition to his original compositions, he showcases a compilation of cover songs spanning various genres, allowing him to cater to a wide range of events and musical tastes.
